One needs a Dropbox account to use Dropbox paper. Logging in to the web browser Dropbox version is necessary to access Dropbox Paper.

Cons:

  • Unlike Google Apps, you cannot access Dropbox Paper docs while using the desktop app.
  • You cannot format fonts, italicize and underscore text
  • Files cannot be exported to PDF or Google docs, only MS Word or Markdown format.
